RevShare (revenue share)
The program pays you a share of the net revenue (often called NGR) that your referred players generate. How net revenue is calculated — which taxes, bonuses and fees are deducted — differs between programs and is written in each program’s terms. Check also whether a negative month is carried over to the next one (“negative carryover”).
CPA (cost per acquisition)
You receive a fixed amount for each player who meets the program’s qualification rules — typically a first deposit above a minimum and some activity. CPA deals are usually agreed individually with the affiliate manager and depend on the GEO and traffic quality.
Hybrid
A combination of a reduced CPA and a reduced RevShare. It lowers the risk for both sides and is common for new partners with unproven traffic.
How to compare offers
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Net revenue formula | Two “40% RevShare” deals can pay very differently |
| Negative carryover | Decides whether one bad month eats future earnings |
| CPA qualification (baseline) | Sets how many referred players actually count |
| Hold and payout frequency | Affects your cash flow |
| Minimum payout | Small accounts may wait several periods |
On every CPA GURU program page these fields are shown side by side, with the date of the last update. Where a program does not publish them, you see “—” — ask the affiliate manager in writing.
